Our management team
Martin
Martin is Co-founder and Managing Partner at Kula. Prior to starting Kula he owned an accounting firm for 12 years, worked as a financial director for several years and eight years at EY. Martin holds an MSc degree in Management and is a member of The Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Parfait
Parfait is Co-founder & Head of Operations at Kula. Prior to starting Kula, he worked in variable workforce and outsourcing delivery functions. Parfait has practised in audit and advisory in both the United States and South Africa. Parfait completed his post-graduate studies in Accounting at the University of South Africa.
Mennolt
Mennolt is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at Kula. Prior to starting Kula, Mennolt was a managing partner at Deloitte and a member of the Deloitte North West Europe Executive Committee. Mennolt holds a postgraduate degree in Accounting from VU University and is a Chartered Accountant/RA.
Francois Smal
Francois is a Co-founder and strategic/finance advisor at Kula. Prior to Kula, he worked in the audit and assurance field in Cape Town, New York and Amsterdam. Upon leaving the audit industry, he continued his career as a business controller. Francois has completed his postgraduate studies at the University of South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant.
